b'Expanding Data-Driven SolutionsAt the end of 2025 our NextGen Software Platform MVP version will be launched. A modernized CARES 2.0 will offer a dynamic and interactive approach to understanding OHCA trends and intervention effectiveness. By leveraging spatial data and advanced analytics, we will empower communities to identify gaps in care and implement evidence-based solutions to improve survival. Participants will be able to share their maps publicly on an online nationwide CARES platform, helping to raise local awareness and increase the transparency of community-based metrics.CARES Community Engagement and Advocacy EffortsWe are very appreciative of ongoing CARES advocacy efforts, including the development of the CARES 2.0 video. We also extend our sincere thanks to our partners at the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and CDC for their continued commitment and advocacy on behalf of CARES.Introducing CARES PRIMEIn collaboration with leading organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, CPR LifeLinks, and the Resuscitation Academy, earlier this year we launched CARES PRIME (Program for Resuscitation Improvement, Modernization, and Expansion). This initiative harnesses data insights, community training, and quality improvement strategies to drive nationwide OHCA survival improvements. Please see the CARES PRIME Video and summary document. Looking Ahead: The Next 20 YearsAs we move forward, CARES is evolving into a comprehensive quality improvement program, leveraging cutting-edge technology, expanding research collaborations, and deepening community-driven interventions. Our future vision includes refining data collection methods, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that every communityregardless of locationhas the tools needed to improve cardiac arrest outcomes.Thank You for 20 Years of Commitment To every member of the CARES community: thank you for your persistent dedication to saving lives. Together, with your continued support and our partner organizations, we can shape the future of resuscitation care. We would like to especially thank Robert Merritt, MA who will be retiring from the CDC this April after 33 years of service. Rob has been a true CARES champion, and his efforts have made the program successful. We want to thank him for his advocacy and to wish him the best.
