b'2024 DATASETHOSPITAL SURVIVALThe CARES Hospital Survival Report provides receiving centers with summary metrics for their patient population. The report follows a flow diagram format, categorizing arrests by sustained ROSC in the field, initial rhythm, and patient outcome. It also allows for filtering of patients on whether they were transported by EMS or transferred from another acute care facility. Figure 21 presents the National CARES Hospital Survival Report for 2024.Among all patients transported to a hospital, the survival to admission rate was 45.1% and the survival to discharge rate was 18.4%. Survival to hospital discharge was substantially higher among those who achieved sustained ROSC in the field (35.4%) compared to those who did not (5.0%). Furthermore, patients transferred from another facility exhibited a higher survival rate (48.5%) compared to those No Sustained ROSC in field43506Shockable Initial Rhythm Nonshockable Initial Rhythm9252 34254Died in ED Died in ED7087 27871Admitted to Hospital Admitted to Hospital2142 (24 incomplete) 6282 (110 incomplete)Patient made DNR in Hospital =467 Patient made DNR in Hospital =1781In-Hospital No In-Hospital In-Hospital No In-HospitalHypothermia/TTM Hypothermia/TTM Hypothermia/TTM Hypothermia/TTM963 1179 2393 3889Died in Hospital Died in Hospital Died in Hospital Died in Hospital602 650 1936 3065Discharged Alive Discharged Alive Discharged Alive Discharged Alive360 529 452 821Neurological Status Neurological Status Neurological Status Neurological StatusCPC 1 or 2: 290 CPC 1 or 2: 409 CPC 1 or 2: 203 CPC 1 or 2: 526CPC 3 or 4: 70 CPC 3 or 4: 119 CPC 3 or 4: 249 CPC 3 or 4: 294Unknown:0 Unknown: 1 Unknown: 0 Unknown: 1Figure 21. 2024 CARES Non-Traumatic Etiology Hospital Survival Report.46'
